sessions-trumpElections have consequences. We have certainly learned that in the month since election day. Each day we learn more about what the incoming Trump administration will look like. Among those consequences are the President’s choices to serve in his cabinet. However, the Constitution gives the United States Senate the responsibility to advise on and consent to his choices. 

In the coming weeks before inauguration day, Senate committees will start holding hearings on the President’s nominees. You and I have a chance to influence how those hearings go by letting our Senators know the types of questions that need to be asked.
