Working Assets / CREDO provides its members with an easy way to help further the causes of charities just by using their services to do everyday tasks such as making phone calls and using a credit card. Working Assets / CREDO donates 1% of its members’ monthly phone charges and 10 cents per credit card transaction – at no additional cost – to a special fund that will be disbursed among selected nonprofits working to better the world. And members help determine how the annual donation fund is distributed among the selected charities. In 2009 alone, Working Assets / CREDO members helped raise and distribute over $2.6 million to nonprofits around the country.
Now it's time to vote on how funds will be distributed among this year's recipient nonprofit organizations. If you are a current long distance, mobile or credit card member, or have sent a CREDO Action alert, you can vote for the organization you would like to support – Interfaith Alliance! Go to http://act.credoaction.com/voting/login.html?b=ld to vote today! Simply fill in the form and go to the civil rights section of the ballot to vote for Interfaith Alliance Foundation. It’s that easy! You can disburse up to 80 points to the groups on the list. We hope you will consider assigning some or all of your points to Interfaith Alliance Foundation.
