Victoria Strang

Victoria Strang, M.Div., is a strategic leader and nationally recognized advocate with more than 15 years of experience mobilizing faith communities to advance human rights and social justice. She serves as Director of Interfaith Partnerships at Interfaith Alliance, where she strengthens and expands a national network of affiliates, builds cross-sector partnerships, and advances strategic engagement initiatives that bridge faith and democracy.

Victoria previously served as the first Faith Policy Advocate at Human Rights Watch, where she launched the organization’s inaugural effort to engage religious leaders and faith communities in support of global human rights advocacy.

Her career also includes leadership roles at Humane Society of the United States, American Heart Association, and the Rhode Island Interfaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty, where she developed strategic organizing initiatives and cultivated partnerships across faith and secular institutions.

Throughout her career, Victoria has emphasized the critical importance of partnering with people of faith—even within secular organizations—to build sustainable, values-driven movements for change. She brings deep expertise in strategic planning, program development, mission and vision alignment, and stakeholder engagement at both domestic and international levels. She has presented at national and international faith convenings, facilitating dialogue across diverse traditions and perspectives.

Victoria earned her Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, where she focused on the intersection of faith and social justice and served as a Global Health Justice Fellow through Yale Law School and the Yale School of Public Health. She completed a double major in Religion and Government at Skidmore College.
